Design Thinking Games (“we”) runs designthinkinggames.com. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and who we share it with. Questions? Contact us.

What we collect

  • When you order: your name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number (if you give it) and order details, so we can take payment, ship your order and contact you about it.
  • If you create an account: your login details and order history.
  • If you use our contact form: your name, email and message.
  • If you comment: your name, email, comment and, for spam checking, your IP address and browser details.
  • When you browse: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited), kept by our web host for security. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the shop and site:

  • Square and PayPal process card and PayPal payments. We never see or store your full card number.
  • USPS receives your name and shipping address to deliver your order; shipping labels are bought through WooCommerce Shipping.
  • Substack handles our newsletter if you subscribe.
  • Akismet (Automattic) checks comments for spam.
  • Our web host (GoDaddy) and Sucuri host and protect the site.
  • Embedded media from YouTube, TikTok and Spotify may set their own cookies when you play them.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

The shop uses cookies to keep your cart and login working. Embedded videos and players may set cookies from their providers.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
